A beautiful song to go with this cold weather.

This is the new single from Thus Owls and the album will be out April 8th.

I first saw James Vincent McMorrow sometimes in 2012 in a major festival in Europe. I had no idea who that beard man was but I decided to watch his set and I glad I did. I immediately fell in love with “We Don’t Eat”, “If I had a Boat”, “Higher Love”…

The first song I heard from his new album was “Red Dust” at the end of his TIny Desk concert for NPR (here). Such a beautiful song.

“Sometimes my hands they don’t feel like my own, I need someone to love I need someone to hold”

I’m going to need more time to critic the album cause I just can’t pass this song for the moment

2013 was a very good year for me. I spent months surfing on the french coast, moved to an other country, got into a research program, met some wonderful people and so a lot of great concerts. I also had the chance to have some really good music to go through all those phases.

If I have to pick my top 3 albums it would be:

The National: Trouble Will Find Me

Typhoon: White Lighter

Daughter: If You Leave

But I made you a  mix with my favorites of 2013: Download the Zip
